Lemon Over Basil

Ingredients

  • Ice
  • 1 ½ oz Hendrick’s Gin
  • ¾ oz St. Germaine Elderflower Liqueur
  • ½ oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • Several Fresh Basil Leaves
  • ½ oz Simple Syrup

Directions

  1. Muddle a few basil leaves with the fresh lemon juice, but save one leaf for garnish.
  2. Fill shaker half full with ice.
  3. Add other ingredients, give her some good shakes, and strain into a chilled coupe.
  4. Garnish with a basil leaf to float on top.
