Mint Julep Recipe


  • Maker’s Mark Bourbon – 2 oz.

  • Simple Syrup – ½ to 1 oz.

  • 8 Mint Leaves

  • Crushed Ice

  • Angostura Bitters

  • Mint Sprig Garnish


Muddle mint leaves and simple syrup in the Mint Julep cup.  Add bourbon and pack with crushed ice.  Stir about 60 seconds or until cup is frosted on the outside.  Add bitters, more ice, and garnish with mint sprig. Cheers to the Kentucky Derby!
